Established 2020 Online delivery Canada-wide availability Education-only services

Why we were started

Pigisakka B.V. was founded in 2020 after noticing the same pattern across different workplaces: people were expected to “pick up” administration, communication, and project basics by osmosis. Training materials often existed, but they were either overly academic or too narrow to apply to the unglamorous reality of daily work—meeting notes, handoffs, stakeholder updates, and the constant need to prioritise.

We built an education model that starts with concrete artefacts rather than abstract frameworks. Learners practise writing a clear update, assembling a lightweight work breakdown structure, or setting up a weekly planning routine. The goal is not to sell advice or consulting; it is to provide structured learning that learners can apply independently in their own context.

Our programmes are delivered entirely online and are available across every province and territory in Canada. The curriculum is designed to be flexible: short lesson blocks, applied exercises, and downloadable templates that can be reused beyond the course.

How we define quality

Each module is built around learning outcomes and a simple assessment rubric: clarity, correctness, and applicability. Exercises are designed to be checked against a model answer or checklist, so learners can self-correct without guesswork. For example, a stakeholder update is judged by structure (context → decision → next steps), precision (who owns what, by when), and tone (professional and unambiguous).

When we revise content, we track which examples cause confusion and rewrite them, rather than adding more pages. The goal is compact material that improves recall and reduces rework—especially for learners balancing study with full-time responsibilities.

Our learning philosophy

Workplace education works best when it respects constraints. People rarely have uninterrupted afternoons to study, and real jobs rarely match tidy case studies. We design learning around realistic time blocks and scenarios: drafting a professional email, prioritising competing requests, or building a basic project plan that survives the week.

Practical learning

Lessons lead to an output: a template, a short plan, a message draft, or a checklist. Learners can compare their work to a rubric and iterate.

Sustainable pace

Program pacing is designed for consistency rather than intensity. The material is methodical, with repetition where it improves recall.

Accessibility

Online delivery keeps access broad across Canada. Materials are written to be readable, with clear headings and usable examples.

Integrity

We describe offerings plainly, avoid inflated claims, and maintain a strict education-only boundary. Learners apply knowledge independently.

Learning specialists

Learning specialists contribute to curriculum development, exercises, and learner support. Their role is educational: helping learners understand material, improve their outputs, and navigate the course structure. They do not provide consulting, legal advice, financial advice, accounting, recruitment, or any regulated professional services.

How we guide

We point learners to rubrics, examples, and relevant lessons. Guidance is anchored in learning objectives.

What we do not do

Tip: If a question requires professional advice, we recommend seeking a qualified regulated professional in the relevant jurisdiction.

Mira S., Business Administration Educator (MEd)

Mira has taught workplace administration and documentation skills for 9 years. Her specialty is turning messy processes into teachable checklists and examples that learners can reuse. She is known for precise rubric feedback and for making policy-style writing less intimidating.

Daniel R., Communication Instructor (MA)

Daniel has spent 11 years teaching professional writing and presentation structure. His focus is practical clarity: subject lines that work, requests that reduce back-and-forth, and feedback phrasing that stays constructive. Learners often mention his “edit once” approach for routine messages.

Sophie T., Leadership Development Specialist (PgCert)

Sophie has supported leadership learning for 8 years, with emphasis on routines that make delegation predictable. She helps learners practise briefing, follow-up questions, and closing loops in a way that is respectful and measurable. She is known for realistic scenarios that mirror team dynamics without drama.

Alex P., Professional Learning Advisor (PMP)

Alex has worked with project teams for 10 years and translates core project discipline into beginner-friendly learning steps. His specialty is simplifying artefacts like RAID logs, milestone plans, and status cadence so they are usable, not ceremonial. He is known for feedback that is brief, direct, and actionable.
